A Special Mother’s Day with Marie-Stella-Maris in Maastricht

Mother’s Day is around the corner, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years (besides inheriting my mom’s obsession with beauty and fashion), it’s that the best gifts are the ones you experience together. So when Marie-Stella-Maris invited me to their beautiful Maastricht store for a very special Mother’s Day surprise — and said I could bring my mom — I said yes!

My mom loves visiting me in Limburg, so this was the perfect excuse for a full-blown mother-daughter day in Maastricht — complete with coffee, shopping, good food… and of course, Pip. (Plus my dad and boyfriend joined too — it turned into a full-on family day.)

When we arrived at the Marie-Stella-Maris boutique, we were warmly welcomed by one of the lovely store girls, who instantly set the tone with her soft voice and even softer scent trail of No.12 Objets d’Amsterdam — the brand’s iconic fragrance. She told us about the fresh notes of bergamot and green tea layered with soft musk and amber, and honestly? I would have bought the whole store right then and there.

A Gift With Thought
